What lives in a lake and is about 9-10 inches long?

Did you figure it out? Seaweed! Or as AJ told me, they caught "Seaweed Monsters." While fishing at my parents house last Sunday, the fish weren't biting, but the Seaweed Monsters were out in abundance.
