They're a little bigger, a little more rectangular than his previous pair, but overall fairly similar. His prescription hasn't changed much in the last year, but clearly it changed enough that it took him a couple hours to get used to his new, sharper vision.Leaving the eyeglass store last weekend, he was ready to chuck the new glasses almost immediately and return to the old, scratched up and too small pair. We were told it could take a day or two for him to adjust, but by later in the afternoon he was fine.
Unfortunately, the new glasses don't seem to help him see how silly some of his clothing choices look. What you see him wearing in the above photo is his choice for pajamas. He continues to prefer wearing "a regular shirt" (or in this case - several shirts) with his pajama pants.
I asked him why he was wearing a tank top over a t-shirt. His explanation? "It's so I don't get cold."
