Sydney had so much fun at her first birthday party! Unlike most toddlers, she wasn't too interested in the wrapping paper and boxes. She wanted to play with what was inside! Luckily, we found a few "helpers" who were more than willing to lend a hand, unwrapping cute clothes, a dolly, book, sandbox toys and a fun Dora the Explorer riding toy. 
Christmas and her next birthday could be a bit more challenging, once Sydney is old enough (or aware enough) to want to unwrap her gifts herself. AJ will be crushed!
Of course no first birthday would be complete without cake. And pictures of the birthday girl eating that cake.
