The nice thing about snow in April is that you don't really have to shovel it. Just wait a day or two and it will melt.

This is what April snow looks like. Sure, some of it might melt. But just as quickly it's replaced by more snow.
After getting about a foot of snow Thursday-Friday, a little bit melted Saturday. And then another snow/ice storm pounded us last night. The kids were let out of school early Thursday, had no school Friday, and now are enjoying a two hour late start today.
They're loving it.
I need to get to work.
AJ's reaction Friday was to gloat that he'd correctly guessed they'd be getting a snow day. This morning's reaction was a fist pump while dropping low to the ground, similar to when he scores a goal in hockey. Sydney, meanwhile, is still sleeping.
And now we have another major storm forecast for later this week.
(Sigh)
