Magic Markers

Perhaps the most magical thing about AJ's new markers from Grandpa is that he willingly shares them with his sister. Or perhaps it's that he uses them to draw something other than pirate ships.


That's a family portrait that he's working on. Apparently we all like to hold balloons attached to striped strings.

5-year-old humor being what it is, AJ thought the funniest thing of all was to tell Daddy that he was drawing him as teenager. I believe the exact quote was, "There's me and Sydney and Mommy... and Daddy is a teenager!"

Jeff responded with a mock horrified, "WHAT?!?"

AJ then dissolved into giggles, recovering quickly to further taunt his Dad by announcing, I'm making your shirt with green and purple stripes!"
